ONALASKA ECEAP preschool provides comprehensive, individualized preschool education, health education, and family support to promote family engagement and school readiness. The Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) is a state-funded, comprehensive, "whole child" preschool program for 3 and 4 year-olds.
ECEAP works in partnership with parents, the community, and state and federal agencies. Children are accepted into ECEAP based on their age, family income, and other developmental or environmental risk factors
The program includes:
Preschool instruction [September – June]
Developmental screenings and referrals
Nutritious meals and snacks
Health and dental screenings
Parent Leadership Opportunities
Kindergarten Readiness Activities
Transportation provided in some service areas
Monday 7:45 AM – 11:00 AM, Wednesday and Friday 7:45-12:00 PM The morning session includes breakfast and a snack.
Monday 12:00 PM – 3:15 PM. Tuesday and Thursday 11:00 -3:15 PM The afternoon program includes lunch and a snack.
