ASB Fund Information

To meet the requirements established by 2SSB 6062, published here is the Budget Status Report for the district’s ASB Fund as of August 2023. This report does not reflect all revenue, expenditures, accruals or all adjusting entries for fiscal year 2022-2023. These entries will be posted up until the books are closed for 2022-2023. Complete and audited financial statements will be available at the State Auditor’s Office website as www.sao.wa.gov the spring following the August 31st close of the fiscal year. Additionally, the district’s operating statement for 2020- 2021 and 2021-2022 are obtained from the State Auditor’s website.

School districts must add updated annual information to their web sites by each August 31st, except that school districts are only required to maintain the information on the web site from the previous five years.

ASB Access and Participation

To meet the requirements established by RCW 28A.325.050, each school district with a high school must collect, report to their ASB executive board, and publish on their website additional data elements related to ASB access and participation. All of the required ASB data reporting is for high school, grades 9-12.

ESSER Funds

Washington's Plan for the American Rescue Plan Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ARP ESSER) Fund

The ARP ESSER fund, authorized by the federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), provides funding to schools to support sustained safe building reopenings and operations while meeting the academic, social, emotional, and mental health needs of students resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. The U.S. Department of Education approved Washington's plan for use of the ARP ESSER funds on November 24, 2021.
