General Payroll Info
Payday occurs on the last business day of each month.
Regular base wages are prorated and paid during the month the work is performed. If you begin or end employment mid-month, or take unpaid leave, your pay will be adjusted proportionally.
Approved extra hours and leave adjustments will be made the following month.
For accurate and timely payment, timesheets must be submitted to your supervisor no later than the 5th of the following month.
Substitute Payroll Information
Substitute payroll is processed one month behind. Hours worked in a given month are paid on the following month’s payroll. For example, if you work in September, you will receive payment at the end of October.

2025 FLSA Overtime Statement
Federal legislation enacted in 2025 (the One Big Beautiful Bill Act) created a provision that allows employees, if eligible, to deduct the premium portion of qualified Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) overtime compensation on their federal income tax return.
What qualifies as FLSA overtime premium pay
● Only the overtime premium required under the FLSA is considered qualified. This generally equals the additional one-half (.5) paid above an employee’s regular rate for hours worked over the FLSA overtime threshold.
Viewing your qualified overtime pay
Employees who received FLSA overtime compensation in 2025, can view the qualified amount on their annual W2 Form available in Skyward Employee Access.
