ACTIVE SHOOTER KIT
Safety is a top priority in the Onalaska School District. These Active Shooter Kits were designed and packaged with our school’s Logger Crest to ensure staff have quick access to life-saving tools when every second matters.
Our School Safety Officer, Fred Wetzel, has been leading efforts to strengthen our safety plans and preparedness. Through his dedication and the support of our community, 53 kits have already been secured, reaching halfway to our goal.
This progress has been made possible thanks to incredible community partners including Hampton Lumber Mill of Morton, the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office, and Morton’s Arbor Health.
