6th grade MS students learned the importance of volunteering at Chehalis Discovery Trail by planting trees to protect the environment and the riparian zone by the Chehalis River. Students also went on a scavenger hunt learning about native and nonnative plants. ~Mrs. Richardson

6th grade science students had the opportunity to learn what it takes to work in forestry. On September 22nd, 56 students learned the ins and outs of working at Weyerhaeuser using math, reading, and science skills.
