The Washington State Senate page program began taking applications for the 2024 Legislative Session on Nov. 1. Pages have the unique opportunity to interact with the legislative process and various legislators throughout the week. They will draft bills and debate them on the floor in a mock session, work with senator’s offices on various projects, and page on the floor of the Senate whenever they are on the floor. Students age 14-16 are eligible. If you know someone in that age group who is interested in politics or public service, encourage them to apply.
Pages serve for one week and receive a stipend; the upcoming session is from Jan. 8 to March 7.
