The 2024 Onalaska High School Graduation will be streamed on the NFHS Network starting at 7 pm on Friday June 7, 2024.
This is a great opportunity for family and friends who are not able to attend and/or live out of the area. It will require a subscription to view.

Onalaska has great kids! These Leadership Council students cleaned up Highway 508 on both sides of town last Saturday. They cleaned up the highway getting it ready for Graduation this Friday. Job well done.

The Onalaska School District extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Onalaska PTO for their generous donation towards funding this year's field trips for our elementary and middle schools. Mr. Markuson and Mrs. Soderback's acceptance of this donation represents the appreciation of the entire school community for the PTO's support. Thanks to their generosity, students will have invaluable opportunities to learn and explore beyond the classroom.

A note regarding student safety
As some of you may have noticed this morning, the district is working to increase supervision and control traffic flow during morning drop off. As cars and buses try to navigate the tight space near our preschool and TK building, there have been situations that have created unsafe conditions for students. This has become even more of an issue recently as we have witnessed some very near misses. We recognize that the current drop off setup is problematic and are currently working to make it better for the coming school year. Here are some things the district is doing:
Positioning staff in key areas to better move the am flow of traffic
Examining drop off areas and times for a smoother am drop off in the coming school year
Adding safety a security officer for next school year to help lead this and further safety initiatives in our district
As parents and community members we ask that you drive safely while in the school zone, follow traffic as directed, and be considerate of pedestrians, buses and other vehicles. Thank you for helping us keep our students safe, and thank you in advance for your patience as we put some of these changes in place.
